Mike is a Clean Energy Communities Coordinator with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County. Mike grew up in the Finger Lakes region. He has a background in environmental science research and education, and completed graduate and subsequent work studying climate change impacts on aquatic ecosystems, including in Antarctica and the Finger Lakes. With Cornell Cooperative Extension, Mike supports Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga County municipalities in their clean energy and sustainability efforts under NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities program. He greatly enjoys working with local governments to help them reduce costs, protect the environment, become more resilient to climate change, and participate in the vibrant clean energy economy.
