Join the Excitement: 4-H Sparks Clubs Meet Monthly on the Third Saturday
Are you looking for a fun, educational, and community-oriented activity for young people? Look no further than the 4-H Sparks Club. Each month the Sparks Club will offer different activities designed to spark curiosity and develop new skills, including hands-on science experiments, arts and crafts, leadership and team building activities and much more.
These gatherings provide opportunities for young members to learn and grow as well as creating ongoing friendships. Every session aims to foster a sense of belonging and enthusiasm for learning.
Adult family members are encouraged to stay at the meetings to see firsthand the positive impact Sparks Clubs have on young minds. In addition, they can share their own sparks or passions with the club. This not only enriches the program but also encourages youth to find or explore their own sparks, fostering a stronger bond between parents and youth through shared experiences.
If you are interested in sharing your Spark at a Sparks Club meeting or would like more information on volunteering for 4-H, please contact, Kim Seaman at kns57@cornell.edu
All our meetings take place at the Human Services Complex Building in Montour Falls, either in Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler Office or in room 120, on the third Saturday of each month (except December) from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Join us at the next Sparks Club meeting on October 18th in the CCE Schuyler office, we will be exploring Forensics and igniting your child's passion for discovery!
