Join us for a unique winter pasture walk to see bale grazing in action and other innovative examples of outwintering at Angus Glen Farms; 3050 Station Road; Watkins Glen, NY. The walk will start promptly at 10 am and finish around noon, followed by a light lunch and friendly conversations. Please dress for the weather and expect to walk up to a half mile in snowy and/or muddy pasture conditions. This event is free and all are welcome, but space is limited so please register without delay!
In the case of cancellation due to “extreme winter weather” (think: road closings and emergency weather declarations) a cancellation email will be sent to those who have registered by 7:00 pm Friday, January 10th.
Questions can be directed to Troy Bishopp: (315) 749-4528; Northeast Region Coordinator for the National Grazing Lands Coalition, or Betsy Hicks: bjh246@cornell.edu of the Cornell Cooperative Extension SCNY Dairy & Field Crops Team.
