Have you always wanted a back yard rain barrel but been scared off by the price? Perhaps you've considered making your own but you just don't know where to start. CCE Schuyler is here to help!
On August 14th CCE Educator, Ryan Staychock will be holding a Rain Barrel workshop at the Schuyler Human Services Building from 5:30-7:30pm. Participants will build their own rain barrels for a fraction of the retail price while also learning about the importance of rain barrels and how they can help you protect our natural resources.
The Workshop Registration fee is $35 ($100-$150 less than the retail price for a completed barrel) and attendees will leave with their own rain barrel!
