How to Raise Day-Old Pheasant Chicks

Join us on February 22nd to learn how you can help boost the pheasant population!
The NYS DEC has a long history of providing to the public pheasant chicks to be raised and released in the wild to help meet the demand for pheasant hunting opportunities. The Day Old Pheasant Chick program offers free pheasant chicks, and is a great way to get involved with wildlife and the outdoors, while learning the responsibility that comes with raising animals.
Registration is required.
The class will take place in Rm 120 of the Human Services Building in Montour Falls, NY.
