Come learn how to grow grapes at home with farmer and biology
educator Gillian Trimber! This class will cover all of the basics for getting started. Learn how to choose a site, select varieties to plant, diseases and pruning for a healthy yield of fruit. This workshop will also discuss why the Finger Lakes region is so well suited to viticulture. Gillian will share cultivation tips she's learned while working in commercial vineyards. Whether you're growing for home winemaking or fresh fruit for the table, you'll come away from this workshop ready to grow grapes like a pro!
