A Schuyler County native, raised in the Odessa-Montour school district, Lisa was a 4-H member for most of her childhood. She was part of the program that allowed 4-H youth to apply and work in the kitchen at Hidden Valley Camp and participate in camp activities when off shift.
That experience opened the door to Lisa working as a Camp Cook for a total of 19 years, Nutrition Educator for 3 years, part time 4-H Educator and full-time 4-H Educator for the past 4 years. Lisa has worked in extension since August of 2002. She is a certified Master Food Preserver, holding 3 chef certificates, and an associates degree in Restaurant Management, but the thing that brings her the most joy is working directly with youth.
