Our Dates are Set!

Theme Weeks in the Planning Process!

Week 2 (July 15-20): On the High Seas! More information to come about this, but bring your pirate costume, your Hawaiian or South Pacific attire! Batten the Hatches! There might be a huge storm, ANYTHING can happen on the high seas!

Week 3 (July 22-27): 2nd Annual Hidden Valley 4-H Camp's Got Talent - Got a special talent? Want to showcase your talent at camp? Well, sign up for week 3 and prepare for our Wednesday Night Show!

Week 5 (August 5-10): Special Event Week! It's a secret! But, parents, please know that we change the schedule for the week and do not follow the weekly schedule we offer weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, & 6.

Week 6 (August12-17): Planets and Air Travel! Build your own hot air balloons, solar systems, telescopes and more. Camp out for a night of star gazing in the athletic field! Rocketry will be offered that week- pre-registration and extra fee required.

Explanation of Theme Weeks

We develop theme weeks to add extra fun to the camp week. Counselors may dress up according to the theme, Lisa may cook meals around the them and evening activities will also focus on the theme. Our daily schedule remains the same. Campers are invited to bring their own costumes or items related to the theme to add more fun!

Stay Over Weekends

Weekend #1: July 20-22: Splendid Seneca Lake - More information to come!

Weekend #2: August 3-5: TBA! (Still thinking!)

Special Event Week (Week 5)

It is very important to us that Parents understand Special Event Week. We completely alter the schedule to focus on the "mystery" theme for the week. The regular activity schedule that we offer weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, & 6 does not operate the same. Campers will engage in activities, but only with their "teams" and predetermined by our Special Event Committee. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jenn Sweet, the Camp Director, at jas935@cornell.edu or (607) 535-7161.
