Backyard Fruit Production

Held at Reisinger Apple Country at
2750 Apple Lane in Watkins Glen NY. Spend the morning learning aboutgrowing apples, peaches, cherries, plums and pears. This workshop will
also cover growing small fruits such as raspberries (black, yellow and red), blueberries and currants. Highlights will include pruning, Insects, diseases,
fertility, “critter control’ and netting blueberries.

Class Agenda:

8:30am-9:00am– Registration

9:00am-10:00am– Site selection, pest and disease, critter control, fertilizing, etc...

10:00am-11:30am– Apple, pear and plum production.

11:30am-1:00pm– Peach, blueberry,
current and raspberry production.

Fee is $20 per person or $35 for two
pre-registration required by March 21st. Workshop will be rain or shine,
so please dress for the weather!
